So this morning’s 10 mile run marks the last workout before beginning to taper for the 70.3 next Sunday. Taper week is a weird week, your body is craving more, your monitoring everything you eat, and attempting to stay as hydrated and healthy as possible. Thankfully, having just done a 70.3 in June, the stress is much less. I know I can do the distance, we’ve just built on a base we already had, so I’m feeling fairly confident.
I’ll be taking it easy this week, trying to fit in extra yoga, and extra foam rolling.
