Week after week this happens. Friday morning CrossFit, long on Saturday morning, run again Sunday morning, double day on Monday with CrossFit and swimming, double day Tuesday with CrossFit and running, double day Wednesday with CrossFit and swimming and then Thursday morning hits. I hear my alarm, and I just can’t do it, I can not make CrossFit that morning.
So Thursday morning ends up being a half rest day… No morning CrossFit.
I don’t know why I don’t just schedule a damn rest day. I know my body needs rest. I know I need to listen to it.
So I tell myself I am doing my body some good. Over and over as I sulk for missing the workout and then hear how awesome it is…
And make up for it with a run with my girlfriend Amber. 🙂
