I made these last night for after my run today. They were exactly what I needed.
Almond Butter Protein Bars
1/2c almond butter
2 scoops isolate protein
3/4t baking soda
1/4c brown sugar
2T apple butter (I make mine, but you can totally use applesauce instead)
Mix together in a bowl, roll out on a flat surface and cut into bars. Place into individual plastic sandwich bags and freeze. Makes 6 bars. 118 calories each. Seriously, so good!
